What is your skin type?
Your face is exposed to sun, wind, heat or cold all day. So I should pay a little attention. The first step in the care of your skin is determining your skin type.
Dry skin has scales or feels tight, rough or itchy.
Oily skin is shiny or greasy and pores may be large.
Mixed Skin is dry in some parts and fat in others.
Sensitive skin itch, burn or itch when you react to certain cleaning products and makeup. Some people with sensitive skin can have acne, rosacea, or allergies.
Basic Face Cleaning
Knowing your skin type will help you know what to use to clean your face and how often you wash.
Dry skin: Use a gentle cleanser instead of soap twice a day.
Oily skin: Use an oil free cleanser that is non-comedogenic (will not clog pores) twice a day.
Combination skin: Use a gentle cleanser that is not too dry twice a day.
Sensitive skin: Use an alcohol-free cleanser, soap and perfume once a day.
Keeping the skin hydrated
In the morning, save time by using a moisturizer that also has sun protection.
Dry skin: Use a moisturizer right after washing to help retain moisture. Reapply later if your skin feels tight.
Oily or combination skin: Use a light cream or oil-free moisturizer.
Sensitive skin: Use a creamy moisturizer.
At night, whatever your skin type, you should apply a moisturizer that contains sunscreen.
Protect your face from the sun
Use sunscreen every day, even if it is cloudy or you’re inside. The sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays pass through clouds and windows. Exposure to UV rays increases the risk of age spots, wrinkles and skin cancer. Choose a waterproof sunscreen and lip balm with sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or more. Some moisturizers and cosmetics and have sunscreen.

Skin Color
People with dark skin such as African Americans or Hispanics, may be too sensitive to chemicals in certain products of skin care. And when dark skin becomes irritated, it may be prone to scarring and hyperpigmentation (dark spots or patches). People with dark skin need a simple, smooth routine for skin care. The moisturizer helps prevent dry skin appearance. Sunscreen helps prevent skin cancer, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
Skin: In what order?
Once you know which products to use, perform the following routine:
Morning: Cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen (if different moisturizer). Then apply the makeup.
Night: Cleanse, a product of retinol (to help match the color of skin and improve skin texture), moisturizer that contains sunscreen. If the product with retinol is very strong, try to apply it after moisturizer.
Imperfections: home care
Your first instinct, with a grain can be tightened or put toothpaste on it. But squeezing can push pus and leave a scab. Applying toothpaste can irritate your skin. Be patient. The grain goes away on its own. To speed healing, use acne products containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, if you have mild acne. Choose liquids or gels for oily skin. Lotions and creams are good for dry skin.
Going to a professional for the treatment of acne
You may need to see a dermatologist if your acne home treatment does not work. The doctor may suggest several types of prescription drugs or you can try to drain large cysts. Laser treatments and light (phototherapy) may also treat acne, but are expensive. Light chemical peels help eliminate blackheads and reduce the size of the grains. The doctor may also remove blackheads and whiteheads with a special tool.
Facial hair removal at home
You have several options for facial hair removal at home.
Starting only requires pliers. He removes one hair at a time and can be painful.
There are liquid depilatories, cream, gel, spray, or roll-on that dissolve the hair. In your face, you should only use a depilatory cream intended for facial hair. They have an odor, can be a bit uncomfortable, and can cause a rash or severe irritation of the skin.
Waxing removes hair and its roots. Spread hair wax and remove it quickly when it hardens. The results last from 2 to 3 weeks, but it can hurt.
Another alternative is more expensive but permanent hair removal pulsed light (IPL) which must be performed by a professional.

Five Tips for Male Skin Care

The male skin care has come a long way from the days in which men washed their face with soap and covered small shaving wounds with toilet paper. Today, there is an overwhelming amount of products specially formulated to meet the needs of male skin. Here are 5 tips for male skin care.
Cleaning – Cleaning is most important to the skin of the face. But using a simple soap can cause skin to become dry and not properly cleaned. Man’s skin typically has large pores and very active sebaceous glands. While these glands are vital to keep the skin moist, there is often too much fat. This last and dirt can clog pores and cause pimples. A good cleansing gel is ideal, and must use at least once a day.
