Preventing Wrinkles
What to do when wrinkles appear?! How to control and even slow its arrival. Here, six steps to prevent them:
1) Keep the skin well hydrated.
When the skin is one of the last parts of the body to be “stocked” water “loses the power to retain moisture, dry and wrinkled.
Therefore, it is necessary to take 6-8 glasses of water daily and avoid diuretics and caffeine.
2) Avoid the sun.
The damage caused by the sun is cumulative and irreversible (remember: “the sun has memory.”) Therefore, it is important to wear a daily basis. For best protection, apply a coat of sunscreen, wait half an hour and reapply another layer over the first.
3) No smoking.
Nicotine constricts blood vessels and decreases the amount of nutrients and oxygen reaching your skin.
4) Exercise.
Doing “something of exercise, increases circulation, improves oxygen nutrients that reach the skin and your temperature rises, causing an increase in collagen production.
5) Try not to strain your eyes.
Even on cloudy days, the sun’s rays can cause damage, like the bright lights and computer screen. If possible, try not to force a lot of your sight. Many ophthalmologists, for example, recommended anti-reflex lens or multi-layer protection from the PC. And if you wear dark glasses, looking around with a good glass, purchased from a viewpoint and not in any place and three dollars (that’s worse than not using anything).
6) Maintain a balanced diet.
Foods rich in nutrients and minerals needed for healthy skin. Consume vitamins A and C, and dairy products fortified with vitamin D.
Vitamins in Your Anti Wrinkle Cream, What Are They For?
If you read the label in beauty cream, you will find the active ingredient on the list. The active ingredient is the substance that makes the cream effective and you pay mostly for this substance. The formulation, the technology to extract it and to make it absorbable for topical application determines the price. You may find vitamins mentioned as active ingredients. If you think that vitamins are just for oral application, some creams with vitamins substances will change your mind. But what are the vitamins for?
The vitamins C just like we have from lemon fruit are the antioxidants vitamins. It works by fighting free radicals. The free radicals come from sun light and pollutants. They damage the skin by damaging the cells metabolism. Vitamin C anti wrinkle cream neutralizes the free radicals and therefore the bad effect of the free radicals could be reduced.
The vitamin E works as antioxidant too to neutralize free radicals. Retinol as the other name of vitamins A works by increasing the skin turnover and stimulating the development of collagen. The faster the skin turnover, the better your skin will be because only new healthy skin will be seen. The old damaged skin will be replaced faster if you use wrinkle cream with vitamin A. The loss of collagen in dermis layer of the skin is the cause of the collapse of the skin forming wrinkles. The more collagen generated, the lesser wrinkle you will have. Vitamins in wrinkle cream are formulized to be absorbed by the skin with the micro or nano size of the molecules.
Facial Fillers long-term absorbable polylactic acid

There are many treatments that are based on injection of fillers to soften wrinkles and expression lines. One of the newer ones used for this purpose is polylactic acid, which has the distinction of being biocompatible, biodegradable, non-allergenic, nontoxic and reabsorbed.
This means that it will be rejected, is eliminated naturally, does not alert the immune system and is completely reabsorbed. Its effect extends to 18 months.
Polylactic acid implants to no more than 2 or 3 mm subcutaneously. It works by stimulating the production of collagen and fibrosis creating a reaction that increases the thickness of the dermis in superficial depressed areas. Read the rest of this entry »
